I just tried to look up that game. Looks like St. Stanislaus lost the week before they would have played against Poplarville in the playoffs so they didn't play. That would have a been a good game to watch though.
He's not related to me. I was in Mississippi for Thanksgiving and went to a high school playoff game. I was hoping to catch Myles Brennan while down there but he was eliminated the week before. This was the next closest game. He looked really good. He is long and lanky but was allowed to be on an island the whole game. I inquired about him and found out that he had 9 int's on the season. He stuck his nose in their on tackles and was not afraid of contact. Looks like he has really good speed also, after seeing him run down the offensive players on multiple plays. Sometimes you can look at a high school player and tell automatically he is supposed to play on the next level. Found out he had not had many looks because this was the first year he's played DB. He had only played WR in previous years. Thought he could be a good steal for the future. I don't benefit either way.
Any one seen this DB out of Mississippi

He only played one year at CB so he hasn't had a lot of looks. One of the top DB's in the state of Mississippi and his team went to the State Championship game this year.

I know Eric and he is a very bright young man. Let's not forget he is just 13 and just turned 13 a couple of weeks ago. So let's please have a little more discretion with your comments. Please trust that his parents and his village are taking care of him, his nutrition, and his physical fitness. If you are on this blog, I'm hoping it is because you are an lsu fan. You should be excited about the possibly of lsu getting a kid like this in 2019, because I know I am. If he is going to lsu camp and impressing coaches at this age, just imagine what he will be doing once he starts to learn how to play the game. I am also thinking he will end up at Shreve where the numbers say the academics are better.
