no one is rooting for them to lose games, bro... but the REALITY is this is a 3 win team... no one wants their favorite team to suck so much, but they do... it is what it is... this is not a good team.... adding an aging, mediocre QB doesn't change that, in any way, shape or form...

what is the difference to you, in winning 5 or 6 games vs. 3 games? you still in the same basic position, but the added risk of possibly losing draft position...

we are in the state we are in already b/c of those 8-8, 9-7 just missed the playoffs types of seasons...

yes, it will suck to see them lose so many games, but the greater good is to let the obvious happen, then take the picks we will have and use those picks to acquire as much talent, across the board, as we can...

and fwiw, we likely won't be all that much better next year either... it will take a few season to get this roster turned over, b/c there are a lot of positions we need a tremendous amount of help at

As you can see I don't post all that much.

But this Guy chRxis gets it very very well said.

Hats off to you

I feel the same with the older guys that hunted deer without 10 cameras and with a piles of ricebran every 100yrds. Times have changed so say the least, but like game cameras and feeding with Bass masters it's not against the rules to use and it's to everyone fishing it's there to use. I am not against it, but wish it would change some like the A-Rig, and how MLF has done.

I will leave you with this thought, the older Pro guys before FFS, what the difference during the spawn, running trawling motor on 10 looking for a spawning female and sitting on her for sometimes hours aggravating her until she at some point bits and in the Pro's you have to prove she was hooked in the mouth. FFS I have never seen a fish foul hooked. With FFS guys using it, if the fish they see doesn't look interested, they just move on, but to camp out on a female ready to spawn and aggravating her until she can't take it and then she hits the bait only to move it off her bed, is that any different?

It's been quiet in here, but also wanted to wish everyone a late Happy New Years. I am a very long time reader and just finished reading all 103 pages and was wondering how everyone is seeing it gotten quiet lately....

Send me an email and I can get and give you some info that may help you in your research. I am 47 and remember the great times and have seen the fast decline.

Need some help and info

I was recently given an old mudboat from an old friend that is well built and in great shape. The issue is and what I need help/info on is the boat and trailer don't have numbers or any paperwork. How do I go about getting boat and trailer registered so they are both legal?

When I started tilling it this week I asked my wife how big she wanted the garden and her answer was;
"bigger is always better" :rotflmao:

Guys, that is some amazing information and greatly appreciated. I live in Chackbay. From what you all are telling me I am in a better spot than what I thought. I know it will be expensive but I think the quicker way to get it started early is to get peat moss, which I was planning on doing next weekend. I didn't want to do that without asking first.
Does the lawn care services in and around area sell or give you compost? I also have a lot of trees in my back yard that I can start a compost pill this winter. I also have neighbors that have cattle where I may be able to get manure from. Would rabbit manure work just a well? I have a couple friend that raise rabbits and I am sure they will not mind me going clean some up for them.

NEW Garden Help needed

Guys, I have just started my new garden at my new house and have not done one in years. I tilled the ground over the last couple days, which did have some grass in it. I tilled it several times. My questions, what is best way to get tilled up grass out, should I cover it, when should I start making my rows and when can I plant some winter items? It's probably 20' x 40' not raised. I put a couple trucks of top soil with the intent to do my garden. Should I put some peat moss in there. I guess I am looking for guidance to get it started the right way?
I think there is a place for every make and size string, otherwise they would discontinue it. Bass fishing I use PowerPro braid 99% except for crank baits and have tournament fished for many moons. For salt water I have used/tried every brand and size there is and all catch fish, but each have there place when it comes to what you have confidence in. For the last year I have switch to try Sufix and for me so far I really like it. Other brands I have found after a few red or specs stretching your line it starts twisting bad. So for with Sufix I notice I catch more reds and specs before line starts twisting.
