re: Let's talk about some positives from tonight

I'm not drawing conclusions on Hill, I'm evaluating the 1 game we've seen. 27 min, 2 pts, 1-7 shooting, 2 pts, 1 stl, 1 asst, 2 turnovers. Can he do better? Let's hope so. If not, start Stevenson who we paid peanuts for.

Positives are we might have the best player in the league with AD so we will always have a chance to win as long as he's healthy. Lance brought a lot of energy off the bench and should have a big role if it continues. I thought a lot of the out of the huddle plays were drawn up well and the fans seemed to be involved in the 2nd half. Turnovers were way in our favor and there was a lot of tips that also didn't go our way.
Negatives we spent a lot of money on Hill and saw absolutely nothing from him. Our shooting was embarrassingly bad. Asik is just not good and continues to have some of the worst hands I've ever seen not to mention a huge speed disadvantage at the position.
It was still fun watching AD and hopefully Buddy will get hot one of these days and make it interesting.

re: Pelicans for chord cutters

I reset my TD forgotten password to reply to this post b/c these are the same questions I had before I cut the cord. I can't speak for Sling but I do have an antenna I got off Amazon and Playstation Vue.
I was able to watch the Pelicans game on FSSW last night. It was a little confusing because on the guide it said it was airing a college football game. There are little things like mistakes on the guide and brief scrambles on the feed that are a little annoying. I can record things and they will last for 30 days. You can rewind, pause, fast forward. The pause will only stay paused for 10-15 seconds though and doesn't hold a pause in my experience. Flipping channels is now a couple of extra steps b/c I am using my playstation controller for VUE then have to use my TV controller to go to the antenna and flip channels on basic cable. That's annoying on college football days but I've got pretty good at it.
Overall I highly recommend cutting the cord b/c of the savings. The quality is great besides some brief interruptions. I also got the NBA league pass b/c I love the NBA. Vue DOES give you the option of TNT, TBS, FS1, FS2, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SEC network, NFL Network. I get the main channels (FOX, CBS, ABC, NBC, etc.) on the Antenna in HD for free. There hasn't been a NBA, college football, or NFL game I haven't been able to watch so far. Actually I've probably got more than I did when I was paying $180 to Direct TV. The only games that will be blacked out for me are NBA games that come on NBA TV. I'm sure I may run into some issues also when March Madness comes around with their weird channels.
Hope that helps someone.

Yay! I would rather watch Gordon play average than Rivers play awful. Jimmer > Rivers
