Hey Tigerdroppings,

Thanks for all the support with our Louisiana-made product, Drytunes!

I know many of you were looking for a blogger review of the speaker and we thought we'd pass one along from "FinCrazy" a kayak-fishing group out of Louisiana.

Here's Sean Payton and Kenny Chesney enjoying their new Drytunes in Florida!

Email us at info@drytunes.com if you have any questions and thanks again. We also have more pics up at https://drytunes.com

Hi Tigerdroppings and Drytunes Backers,

Thank you for your continued support and patience during our first production run. We know people are growing antsy about getting their Drytunes speakers and please know that we are working tirelessly everyday to get your hands on one as soon as possible! We hand build each unit to ensure the highest quality standards, so we appreciate you barring with us through this process and being early supporters!

UPDATE ON PRODUCTION AND SHIPPING:

Last month, to insure that Drytunes has the best possible fit and finish we decided to slightly redesign key elements in our injection molded inserts. This decision was made to incorporate a much superior adhesive to the assembly process. An upgrade we all felt was necessary to ensure the best possible quality of the units (something that we refuse to compromise on.)

We will begin shipping out units next week and throughout the next few weeks.

We could not be here without YOU (our earliest supporters), so THANKS again and if you have any questions you can email us directly at info@drytunes.com

Best,
Jonathan at Drytunes
Hi Connoisseur,

We have it rated as 14-16 hours, about 12 hours at max volume, and we've ran it for 22 hours at lower volume. Also you can replace the battery with another charged one if you need the time.

Hope we get your support: https://kck.st/1lzognn
Hi KingRanch,

We are currently doing the pre-orders on Kickstarter, with the $100 discount.

We estimate we will be in local retailers later this Spring.

Hope we can count on your support! Email me us any questions at info@drytunes.com or you can call us at 985-893-8894

Thanks, Jonathan
Hi Pretzel,

Great idea. Right now to maintain the waterproof rating (IP-67) it needs to be closed while playing.

We've had it strapped to our ATVs with bungee nets now, but we are working on other ways to attach it too.
Motorboat,

It plays music open or closed through the case. It's only waterproof when closed though.

Thanks
Bama,

It will be great speaker for predator calling.

We are even developing Drytunes smart phone apps right now to do that very thing. Very excited about the range of applications!
NEWS LINKS...For those looking for a little more video perspective on drytunes capabilities here are 2 clips that recently ran in the news:

1.) WVLA NBC 33-Baton Rouge, Reporter Danielle Grossman
"Local men develop new device that plays music underwater: only one of its kind"

https://www.nbc33tv.com/news/your-stories/local-men-develop-new-dev

2.) ABC - News with a twist
"Underwater Music with New Orleans Invention – Drytunes"

https://wgno.com/2014/01/21/underwater-music-with-drytunes-2/

As for VOLUME, its very hard to show fully how good it sounds through a video, but it gets about as loud as standing next to a speaker at a concert (depending on the song) and comparable to other bluetooth portable speakers of the same size on the market.
If anyone has an questions do not hesitate to ask, kickstarter or otherwise. You can email us directly at info@drytunes.com or you can call us at 985-893-8894
