Hello,
Selling 4 tickets for the Florida game in Section 633 Row H. Willing to sell set of 2.
Contact me @ 504.458.8933
For those who advocated for a dual threat QB, just look at the teams that are in the playoffs currently. I am glad that Garrett is coming back because JD and Joey B are not walking through the door next year. I believe that Garrett would have been drafted very high had he chosen to leave LSU this year.

It is not because of JD staying but more of Brian Kelly refusing to giving a passing QB an opportunity to play. Much like Les Miles, BK is enamored with dual threat QBs. Dual threat QBs in all sense cannot read defenses and make timely anticipation throws. They wait for plays to break down and then rely on their legs to get out of trouble and run. Dual threat QBs will only get you so far.
J Burrow & Tua are not a dual threat QBs. They are pocket passers but elusive enough and always keeping their eyes down field. They throw on rhythm and timing.
Howard will one day play in the NFL from the system that is installed in Ole Miss. I don’t blame him for leaving and wish the young man luck.
If you are happy with another 10-3 season, by all means go with JD. Your typical dual threat QB. will not win you a national championship. Please don't bring up Cam Newton bc he was an exception. Take a look at the QBs that in the pro and college playoffs and what do you see? All are pocket passers with ability to evade rushes but still looking down field to throw. All can read defenses and anticipate where the receivers will be. No risk.. no reward is what you will get with JD.
Good luck with getting a true passer to come to LSU. Only average passers that can run for this team. Les miles era all over again.
If you look at the final 4 teams in the playoffs for the last 8 years, you would be hard press to find a team that has a running QB. If you are happy with a 7-4 season, then go with a running QB. I have seen this movie before with Les Miles.
Prime example, Clemson Tigers. How have they fared after Trevor Lawrence?
Without a doubt that was good stuff. I learned a lot from his analysis.
You are correct sir with your assessment of JD. If the defense knows you cannot throw the football and only 1 dimensional, they are going to crowd the line with everyone in the box daring you to run. JD is the root cause of our inefficiency on offense.
This is very accurate.
Stop bringing up Cam Newton and Tim Tebow. Those were generational talent. I hope you are not comparing JD to them.
You cannot win consistently with a dual threat QB. Again look at the tops teams in the last of couple of years. Ones that can read defenses and get rid of the ball on time and anticipation.
Hello,
let me know if the tickets are still available. Text me @ 504.458.8933. Thank you.
I appreciate what coach O did leading up to and including the magical year 2019. He had his faults but I would do it all over again. He assembled some of the greatest talents on that 2019 LSU team.
great interview...I turned off the TV after the bottom of the 7th frustrated. I went outside to take out the garbage and thought I "bleed purple and gold". I have to watch until the end and sure enough, i turned the TV back on at the start of the bottom of the 8th and was treated to a great comeback.
