1) VodkaSamm is a legend. Legend I tell you!

2) I don't even know who Farrah the teen mom is. Seriously, no clue.

3) Tom is like Cousin Eddie. You're embarrassed to claim him, but his stupidity makes you laugh from time to time.

Yeah, I really don't know what to think for the Mett vs. Jennings situation.

Iowa typically fares better vs. pocket passers over mobile QBs, but Mett was having a great season and has very good experience where Jennings has essentially none.

We have no game tape on Jennings, but I don't see the offense changing wholesale in three weeks after he's spent a whole season in it. I do think that you may see some plays where the defense gets run off the LOS and allows Jennings some running room.

All in all I think I'd rather face the known entity vs. the unknown, but Mett was playing so well, that it is likely better that we're seeing an inexperienced QB in his first start, even despite the mobility factor.

I'm on the opposite side of that.

I would give Iowa 0% chance vs Mett as he would carve up our secondary.

Everything I've read about Jennings suggests, that while mobile, he's not a run first QB. I think Jennings is closer to Devin Gardner than Braxton Miller.

I read an interview w/Beckham or Landry (or both? IDK) that talked about needing to adjust more to Jennings' ball vs Mett. I also read Jennings was completing less than 50% in practice.

I think there's a decent chance Jennings throws at least one pick.

90% (106 of 119) of senior starters under Ferentz signed an NFL contract (draft or free agent). I would say that's pretty damn good for the "crappy talent" we get to Iowa City.

Brewhawk, are you the same jackhole who was posting crap on the NIU board before the season?

You feel confident? Fine, but please don't post ridiculous crap.

Nobody cares about seniors singing an UDFA and then getting cut in camp.

There are actual stats out there to defend yourself. For example, this link will show that Iowa is currently 13th in Active NFL players by college.

Of course LSU is better (3rd), but I saw that LSU has 10 more 4/5 star players on their current roster than Iowa has signed in the last 10 years combined. So for what they get, 13th isn't too shabby.

Additionally, holding LSU to 100 yards rushing? You look like an arse.

Here's some actual data:

Team | Avg | v. Iowa |Over/Under Avg | % of Avg
NIU | 312 | 163 | -149 | 52%
ISU | 143 | 59 | -84 | 41%
WMU | 116 | 74 | -42 | 64%
Minny | 200 | 30 | -170 | 15%
MSU | 182 | 135 | -47 | 74%
OSU | 317 | 273 | -44 | 86%
NW | 172 | 225 | 53 | 131%
Wisky | 283 | 218 | -65 | 77%
Purdue | 67 | 53 | -14 | 79%
Michigan | 130 | 60 | -70 | 46%
Neb | 221 | 89 | -132 | 40%
Total | 2143 | 1379 | -764 | 64%

Sorry that's jumbled, but it shows Iowa has held 10/11 opponents (no avg for Mizz State) under their rushing average this year.

I expect LSU to put up 150-175 on the ground.

All this talk from Iowa fans almost makes me forget about those two national championships we have in the last 10 years. Yall caught us in between those two NCs in 2005. But you would have thought that yall beat the Saints. Believe me, it's just not gonna happen for yall in Tampa. You may depend on it.

You should say "yall" more.
