re: Loston vs Ogletree

Many of Loston's video's are of him during his Jr. year as well.

Either way, Loston is one of the best S prospects to come out in some time in terms of tackling and head hunter instincts. I watch this kid's film over and over and am still astonished at how ruthless he can be. He is also very aware of where he is on the field and his surroundings. He can read the QB and and has the ability to cover sideline to sideline. The kid just has "it". The same as his cousin Shep. They just have that fire in them.

I take Loston but I am sure my opinion is biased. But no doubt Ogeltree is going to be something to watch.

Just watched all the videos again, and I must say Loston is the best safety prospect I have seen in years. Ogeltree is good on measurable but did not seem to have the same killer instinct that Loston does. Loston hits you , you are going down. Ogeltree was late on several plays , plays Loston snuffed out. IMO there is no comparison LOston > AO
Since the videos you see of Loston are from his senior year, and Ogletree's are from his junior year, why not wait? It's not fair to compare them at this point.

Based upon this thread, I want to try Masons. Where is it?

Normally, when I'm in B.R., and want a sandwich, I go to Pasttime. Since that hasn't even been mentioned, I assume the food has declined.

Jerry Lee's Kwik Shop

and if you go to Jerry Lee's, you better buy 5-10lbs of boudin as well.
I agree. It's the best I've ever had. I was there last week, for my first time. I got a couple of pounds of it. My friend got some boudin. I went back out to the truck and he was eating the boudin right there, RAW. That's when I learned that boudin is one sausage, if it's even a sausage, that does not require cooking. I'm not sure how many people in Louisiana know this, but I'm one who didn't. And, I'm sure going back.

What would you say to Austin Wood if you saw him last night?
I was at a Texas Rangers game on Friday and I saw Austin Wood and a UT buddy of his hanging out. It was definitely Wood.

I was wearing my LSU basebal hat and I thought about all of the bad comments that Texas fans had about LSU fans, and how classless we are, so I decided to take the high road. I was close enough to him to shake his hand and looked at Wood right in the face and just said, "what's up." He looked at me, then my hat and looked down as if to say, "I could have gone all day without seeing another LSU person."

My question is what would YOU say to Austin Wood if you saw him in public like that? Not what you would LIKE to say, but what you would actually say?
I don't think you did, or intended to do, anything wrong. I would have followed up with something positive about the Texas team. I think you missed an opportunity to make someone feel a little better about a disapointment in his life, that is very fresh. But, no one says the "right thing" all the time. Certainly not me.

someone ran a 10.24 and qualified over someone who ran a 10.03?
That was Bernard Williams, who was an LSU guy himself.

They'd be extremely popular. I just checked into it with one of my buddies who still lives down there and he confirmed what I thought it might be.
So, what is it?

In my opinion, Hodson is not top 5.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

4 time all SEC QB
4 years of 2k+ passing yards
First QB in SEC to pass over 8k yards and had 69 touchdowns but not Top 5 LSU??
Mickey Guidrey was an important part of Hodson's success. Hodson would get rattled, and Guidry would come in for a couple of series while Hodson had a chance to settle down. Guidry was very good himself.
