This is SO overblown.
I don't have a dog in this fight; DeBoer is an offensive guy and has had success in that area everywhere he's been so I'll trust him to pick the right guy... But the bad snaps last year were not overblown. They were real and they popped up from the first game...
Some of y'all truly have a remarkable ability to ignore the fact Nick Saban was not the same coach in 2023 that he was from 2007 to 2020.
I think fans say this because he didn't win any more championships after 2020; but Saban adapted several times in his tenure at Bama and wasn't ev...
For me, it's Auburn. We've had far more heartbreaking losses to AU, and far more exciting wins against AU, than we've had over UT in my lifetime... Not to mention, Iron Bowl games earned far more monikers than TSOR games: Punt Bama Punt, Bo Over the Top, The Fumble, One for the Thumb, The Camback...
Think they were the “Praying Colonels”? Also think their best player was named Bo McMillan and he was obviously a badass.
McMillan was an All-American QB at Centre…but he was gone by 1924. Centre and McMillan were best known for their historic 6-0 upset of Harvard (a football power...
The power has definitely shifted. Let’s just hope it shifts with the refs too.
Fewest Penalty Yards Per Game Ranking in FBS Last Three Years: 2021: UGA #20, Bama #114 2022: UGA #39, Bama #123 2023: UGA #30, Bama #50 Yes, one of the few things I agree with you on; I hope it sh...
He is running the same HS offense Malzahn ran. That fad went out 10 years ago.
Mayhap so…but it worked against both us and UGA to the tune of 200+ rushing yards per game last year…...
If he doesn't choose Bama then I'll be right there with you guys in talking shite about him.
If he doesn’t choose Bama, I won’t be dissing him. These are young guys and it’s a different environment from the old days…or even just a few years ago. A lot of money being thrown around a...
It’s an A. It means Alabama.
Hope so…but also hope that ‘A’ doesn’t mean Auburn. With AU getting the last visit, I’m not gonna get my hopes up too high… Be great if we get him…but if Hale, Law, and Prentice stay, along with the Bernard pickup, I think our WR room will be OK in thi...
Seriously have no faith until he signs and is on campus.
Yeah, this is where I’m at as well…...
Why they can sign with one and open the door to the portal with the other .
True but don’t think that window opens up till April…...
Jaylen Mbakwe says 5 star WR Ryan Williams is a LOCK on IG live during the last day of the official visit
These days, I’m getting to the point where I don’t count on anyone till Bama has the signed LOI in hand…...
Was this an interview? Was it F-Bomb?
Yeah, I think he said this on Finebaum’s show…. [link=(https://www.al.com/alabamafootball/2024/01/deboer-not-really-alarmed-with-alabama-transfers-fan-concern-explains-confidence.html)]LINK[/link]...
Yeah they all followed their coach.
Rattler did not follow his coach...he went to a different USC... About 16 guys from OU hit the portal the season Riley left... Now LSU got gutted when they fired Orgeron, especially their defense. Think they lost like 20+......
Do you honestly think we’d be seeing these kinds of transfers if we had hired Sark, Kiffin, or Lanning?
Sark wasn't gonna leave Texas and Kiffin was never an option. Wouldn't have minded Lanning but he's very young and the pressure to replace Saban is huge...not to mention DeBoer wa...
Kelly's first year at LSU...did they have major defections then? I honestly don't remember.
I can't recall either but there were different circumstances for them. LSU wasn't replacing the GOAT, they were replacing the Shrimp Boat Captain... I hate that we're likely losing Downs, ...
Am I still wrong that DeBoer is going to fill up 75-80% of his staff with his buddies?
Most of his staff at Washington had been with him for a while…and most of ‘em were his buddies…and he went 25-3 at a Power 5 school, won a conference championship, and played for a national champio...
…and only 3-3 in championship games.
Uh, think you forgot the four BCS championship games he won? That’d make him 7-3 in national championship games (6-3 at Bama). He was also 11-1 in SEC Championship games (9-1 at Bama), not to mention, 5-1 head-to-head vs Kirby…...
How do I know the list is BS? The number one team played two less games. Thats apples to oranges when it comes to football.
They also played 2 more SEC games and 1 more Power 5 team than most SEC teams on this list…not to mention 3 less non-Power 5 teams (which includes 1 less FCS...
