Fielder could be really good. he averaged 14.7 on 54% shooting and 41% from 3 in only 23 minutes for a team that averaged 78 ppg.

If he played 25 minutes per game at our pace he'd be scoring over 18 a game and getting 8 rebounds.

That said, I'm not going to get worked up for a transfer from a lower level conference. Not again.
Allen should test out the waters. I imagine he'll be told to come back. He is not ready. The NBA has done a terrible job of developing guys that don't make day 1 rosters. If he gets sent to the G League he will end up regretting coming out early.

I'd say there's a 90% chance Allen comes back to college. But we will see what the NBA has to say.
Unless he gets hurt he'll get 10. He's good enough to get a lot but not Will Anderson level where teams will scheme against him ridiculously.

I don't care what he thinks. It's year 3. Time for DeBoer to make something happen.

He won the regular season SEC title and won a road playoff game before losing to the eventual national champion.
What's the deal w/ Cloer? I'm trying to look these guys up but can't find anything from him at NC State. Did he redshirt?

I took my 13 and 14 year old last fall. We did 2 days. You could do 1 but it'd be a lot. I'd suggest 2. You could manage 1 if you got the skip the line add on and/or went during a less busy time.
5 of Bama's top 6 scorers played at Bama the previous year. The only one who didn't was Amari Allen because he was a freshman.

Anyone who puts Self top 5 currently has lost all credibility.

In the last 4 years since NIL and the transfer portal has become popular he hasn't made it out of the first weekend in the NCAA tournament, has no BIg12 tournament titles and 1 regular season title with 5 league losses (the most a league champ has ever had).

He has not pivoted well in the new era. I would take Oats over Self 10 times out of 10. Self would absolutely be a huge downgrade if he came to Bama and I think Oats would do a lot better than Self has done at Kansas lately.

They have to register for class…beyond that, I doubt it

Remember when some football players would be ruled academically ineligible for bowl games?

Herb, Petty, and Reese?

That's half a decade ago.
If I could bring back 2 players from the recent past for next year it would be Donta and Herb.

When is the last time Bama had a senior night for basketball and the seniors started at Alabama? I'm not including walk ons. It's been several years.
I wonder if muted championship celebrations are because of this. When you have been to several schools its hard to get as excited.

Michigan's top 5 scorers:
3 schools in 6 years
2 schools in 2 years
2 schools in 3 years
2 schools in 3 years
1 school in 1 year

It's not good for the game.
I wonder how the conversation with Bowen goes. Does he know he's not coming back early on? Was it a surprise? Did he ask for more money and get turned down?

That award should not exist.

I think Todd Golden is an interesting case. He won a national title last year, but other than that he's never made it past the first weekend in the NCAA tournament. He had a really good team last year, obviously, that won the SEC tournament and a good team this year. But, again, other than the national championship season, he's not done that much. You can't just ignore that though, but I am interested to see how well Florida does over the next couple of years.

Pitino is the best active coach. No question in my mind. He has national titles at 2 different schools. He's also been very successful at other schools too. Hurley is in the next tier as he's done really well the last few years, but his tenure isn't as long and UConn has been good for a long time, even Kevin Ollie won a title there. I'd probably put Sampson on there and Bill Self.

After that you can make an argument for Oats. I think Calipari is really good, but more as a talent acquisition guy than a coach. He should have won several more titles than he did. 1 title with all that talent is pretty silly.

What a half. Defense is swarming, specially Wrightsell. Williamson looks confident.
Happy with the win. Win or lose Sunday this has been a good year.

The announcers seemed surprised by Philon. That guy has been a fantastic player all season and they seemed to be surprised by how good he was.
Kick his arse out of the stadium. Game over.

The question is why did we start the season with only one legit big.

Bama brought in a 7' player of the year from another conference. He's just not good somehow.
