Speed option to the short side is a dumb call.
We did try to run it though.

Im chekcing out the UK game and we only had 14 rushing yards with 5 minutes to go in the 3rd. So we had 140 rushing yards in the last 1/3 of the game.
I think we have found that if we use more tight ends we can run much more effectively. We do a better job of that when we need to late in games and they know it's coming, but early in the games it's harder it seems.
We ran the same exact running play on 2 goal to go TDs. One with Crowell and one with Brown. We had 2 TEs off the line behind the LT and ran a jet sweep to that side w/ the RB. Both scored.

I think he was using that to mean the fans of the players. I don't think he meant he was an outsider looking in. That seems like a more charitable way of looking at it.

Reminder about last year:
First 3 drives - 3 and out, 3 and out 3, fumble.
The offense was not good in that game and it was mostly due to an inability to run the ball when needed.
I don't expect that to be a problem this year. We should be fine.

I bet they were a little cranky from being stuck in the booth for 12 hours.
Tight ends are a huge part of the running game success. Pin and pull is also a huge key to the success.
