The wet nurse was a hot commodity back in the day, and much more recent than you think. Winston Churchill had a wet nurse for instance. If the parents couldn’t find one, then the child just died.
Mr. History,
List the Top 3 reasons for high infant mortality rates "back in the day."
I read an article and it did not list breast feeding as a cause. Nothing was listed about wet nurses either.
An article on wet nursing stated maternal nursing produced the lowest infant death rates while wet-nursing prompted significantly higher infant mortality.

With this 10% pullback from Monday, there was more call buying today. They bought over 8100 of the April 25 calls for $1.90.

As to your point, yes, I’m buying FB every chance I get sub $300. Picked up 15 more shares today.
You have had over a month to buy FB below $300 and a week and a half ago it went under $200
FB traded under 190 today.

Not sure how to post pictures, but pull it up.
It reads RSX 5.65
Bid 5.95 (size 0)
Ask 5.98 (size 0)
Compare this to QQQ 337.30
Bid 336.17 (size 1)
Ask 336.26 (size 6)
It shows up as size 0 vs 0 when a security is halted.

I saw a story on Boeing that Italian prosecutor should be finished with their inquiry into Boeing 787 in July. Maybe this had something to do with it as well.

Thanks for letting me know.
Earlier I tried buying puts a few minutes prior to posting here and also just buy RSX outright on Fidelity and it gave me the error message that only closing positions were allowed.
This evening on Schwab and it shows RSX as halted. Fidelity gave me the message: buy orders are not allowed for this security. Fidelity has a code on RSX that reads C Caveat Emptor with 0 on the bid and ask size.

RSX update. It is now restricted. Buying it straight up is restrictred and ditto on purchasing options. Only closing positions are allowed.
Found out when I tried to get back in on the name today

Was thinking Lukoil 2023 leaps for a lottery ticket play
How are you going to do that? What is the underlying ticker so you can buy LEAPS in Lukoil?
RSX holdings
Lukoil makes up 1.2% of RSX. You can buy the calls or puts there.
Monday, someone put down $10 million on the April 15 puts with the RSX at $11. Since Monday afternoon, those puts have essentially doubled with RSX now at $5.66.
If you went for something short term and out of the money instead of ITM, like the weekly 8s, then those went for 40¢ Monday when paper hit to a high of $3.40 this morning

Have you traded options before with other brokers or is this the first time trading options on any platform? What is your general impression of Tastyworks and if you have used others before, how does it compare?
I have fat fingered orders with Schwab and not realize it until later. One example, I got filled on an order for 222 contracts when my intention was 22 contracts. I also use Fidelity, but they cap option orders to 200 contracts per ticket. I get it, but I would prefer that they raise/remove the contract limit if you are closing the position.
I have found that I get better fills with Fidelity than Schwab.

I am confused as to why you think you have to exercise the options. You are not obligated to do so. You can simply close out the position and bank the profit.
Did your order to buy on March 1st fill at 14:39:22 or 15:42:25?
I had well over 200 calls of CLF in a few strikes last Friday with zero intention of exercising any of them. I was fortunate enough to make as much as 16x on some.

Write better.
The deleted tweet did show great improvement in some numbers. That is the reason why the stock initially moved higher after the tweet was deleted.

AMZN is up 9% if you don't count today's "sell off from Meta earnings."
The market probably also likes that they are jacking up the price of Prime.
Today I was better prepared to profit, regardless of how AMZN went. I had open tickets to buy QQQ calls and puts and executed the calls once their numbers hit. Happy with a 33% return in a few minutes.

FB and QCOM were unexpected. Who could've anticipated such a massive drop in FB?
The astute ones had their finger to buy QQQ puts. If you bot $1000 worth of the QQQ 363 puts expiring today right after FB earnings came out, then you could've profited over $11,000.00. This would've taken place in under 10 minutes.

PTON puts today were such a saving grace.
The difference between getting 10-20 times your money and 150% your money was only 2-3 minutes. Those gains coming in 15-20 minutes.

Same with RIVN puts. I decided to get in them this morning too and made $1.65 per in less than 15 minutes, but did not buy anywhere near enough.
Didn't want to be too greedy, especially since I was down in most names and I got a late heads up on RIVN

Is there data showing the probability of making a profit if bought and sold before expiration?
If I hold an option until expiration, then I couldn't unload it for anything to minimize my loss and/or the cost with commissions would have been greater than the price I could get for selling it.
My goal is to never hold any option position through expiration.
