Multiple sources are reporting that Indiana is hiring Tennessee offensive coordinator Mike DeBord for the same position.

He will take over for Kevin Johns who was fired on Monday. Per ESPN:
quote:

DeBord replaces Kevin Johns, dismissed Monday by new Indiana coach Tom Allen. Johns had served as an offensive coordinator for Indiana for the past six seasons.

DeBord, a Muncie, Indiana native, spent the past two seasons as Tennessee's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. The 60-year-old also twice served as Michigan's offensive coordinator and was Central Michigan's head coach from 2000 to 2003.
Tennessee's search for a new offensive coordinator begins immediately and could include recently fired Orgeron coach Mark Helfrich.

I had to work in Johnson City, TN for a couple of weeks several years ago. I flew into Knoxville and one of the strip clubs near the airport had a sign that said "24 beautiful women and 2 ugly ones." I have seen that same line multiple times since then but, to Knoxville's credit, they were the first ones that I saw with the now-tired line.
