Lane Kiffin’s younger brother, Chris, is rising up the college coaching ranks as Ole Miss’ defensive line coach and an ace recruiter. One who understands teenagers’ penchant for using social media as a communication device. During his recruitment of OT Laremy Tunsil, Kiffin sent roughly 800 Facebook messages to Tunsil and another 400 to Tunsil’s girlfriend. Said Kiffin in an interview with the Jackson Clarion-Ledger...
quote:

“A lot of coaches have (staff) guys run their Facebooks, but I wanted it to be like if you’re texting somebody. I asked about his family … It’s just striking up conversation.”

Probably doesn't bother these kids or the gf.....they all want the attention at that age.

NCAA/parents would have to step up to stop this kind of bs....

Same Chris Kiffen that was arrested in FLA for drug possession & burglary. Just the type of coach & program that you want to send your son to right!! Really.

I actually know Chris and he is a good guy! I met him when he lived in Denver and am proud to call him a friend! Not a huge fan of him recruiting for Ole Miss, but I understand why he has been effective!

Jesus, the future of recruiting is shameful and embarrassing. Kiffin will thrive though, no doubt. He fits right in.
