Ms. Wahootiger and I will be heading to Toronto this weekend for a wedding (which happens to be right in the middle of the LSU game - but they are Canadians with no affiliation to LSU, so I can't really blame them).

Any recommendations on what to do in the city? We are early 30s, like to eat, drink, and see interesting things.

We won't have a car, and we don't plan on venturing out of the city (i.e. to Niagra Falls, etc.).

Thanks in advance.

Saturday afternoon, go to the Communists Daughter and see the singing bartender.

There is good food everywhere in Toronto. One interestingly place is ny subs. Very oddly named, because they serve curried burrito type wraps, very good if you like that sort of thing. Ali’s titis is a great Caribbean restaurant.

Also, try to find Mados hot sauce if you can. I bring back 3 bottles every time I go!

CN Tower of course, for a great view of the city. They have a huge beach with a boardwalk just outside of the city. The Bluffs are nice, but also outside of the city. Like someone said, there are a lot of great paces to eat, try Danforth for some great Greek food (it’s also known as Greek town) The Harborfront has has a lot of things to do on the lake, you can also take a ferry over to the Toronto islands. It’s very easy to get around, you can take the GO train to the places outside of the city for cheap, and either walk or take a cab to get anywhere in the city. They also have a subway. Toronto has great public transit and it’s very clean compared to some places.
