Has anyone here ever done a Virgin cruise? Got one coming up in December, wondering if there's any shows or restaurants to definitely check out. Thanks

Took our first Virgin cruise this summer. Will definitely do another one, though not the same itinerary.

Pluses: 1) no kids, 2) better food in a variety of smaller restaurants that you schedule yourself, 3) lots of bars, 4) top notch service, 5) good entertainment.

Minuses 1) didn't love the short Caribbean itinerary, 2) too much focus on specialty drinks -- just wanted them to be good at the classics.

That doesn't sound bad at all, any particular restaurant stand out to you?

The Galley had a good bit of variety (kind of like a grab and go food hall). For dinner, Mexican, Italian, and Korean BBQ were the best to us. Also most bars have some sort of food menu -- grilled shrimp, wings, sliders, etc.

Mexican, Italian and Test Kitchen were the best.
The steak restaurant was the worst.

The food was great as was the ship layout.
The entertainment was a bit too gay centric.
