I think we only at the hotel 1 night and that was from the pizza shack but I don't remember there being a lot of choices at the hotel. But we were looking to get out so maybe I just didn't pay attention. But there were a lot of places there were walkable as well as a short cab ride away. Didn't strike be as a hotel I'd want to do AI at but we never do AI anyway. Good luck!

If one wants to go to a non-Sandals all inclusive, where would be the best one?
I think it depends on what you're looking for. Do you want an isolated place, or do want to be around other people and party?

I just want an all inclusive so I can hang on the beach for 7 days straight drinking beverages. The lady is into resorts that have more activities and a good spa.
Any recs on where to stay? Should we nix the idea and just go somewhere else in the Carribean?
Look into flying to St. Thomas and taking a ferry to St. John, one of the few all inclusive places with a restaurant on site, spa, tons of activities (both on the resort and the water, free kayak, paddle boards, snorkel) is Westin St. John. St. John has some of the arguably best beaches in the world. You could easily sit here for 7 days going from the pool to the beach - if you prefer to not explore other beaches and pay a premium for said drinks (there is a market walkable to buy cheaper drinks and make yourself!)
I'd recommend. Can always back out with COVID.

Just so you know. Prepare for American Airlines to cancel your flight and force you onto a shittier flight. I’ve booked through them 3x during the pandemic months out and all got canceled and forced to move times. Non stops turned to 1 stops. And worse arrival times. Non turned to a different day yet though so that’s promising
