Exactly. This is a perfect example of people overreacting. fricking shut down the parks!!! People are dying!!!

Walmart, sure. Lets make sure it's the ONLY thing open so everyone has to go there and crowd together. It'll be fine.

But it’s not. It’s still buried in snow on all sides so people are even more limited. The road is closed at the lodge near the north shore, which is about 8 miles from the park entrance. A two lane road is all ya got. Apgar is also very small and easily congested.

Oh well. If it’s mostly impassable anyway just close it.

Update:

Red bus tours (jammers) and Glacier Park Boat Co. have announced seasonal closures this year. They will not be operating, so plan ahead if you all plan on visiting Glacier this summer.
