Well, that's the major attraction.

Ommegang is the only other thing that I can think of that's noteworthy there. It's really kind of in the middle of nowhere.

Several microbreweries in the area. Council Rock is small but has great beer and a decent kitchen. Cooperstown Brewing is owned by 4th generation descendants of Adolphus Busch. Ommegang is good but can be crowded. There is also a distillery in Cooperstown. The Fenimore museums are quite interesting. Enjoy

Where are you staying? In the country or in town by the Lake?

Go to Cooperstownsdreamspark.com and click on families folder and navigate.

Please take in all the baseball items if that is where your team is playing. Opening and Closing Ceremonies are a must.

The little downtown is quaint. You can have lunch at the big old hotel on the lake. There is a rural life type of museum. There are hiking trails.

Going to Yankees game at Yankee stadium before and flying out of Boston.

Thanks for the ideas.
