Talladega Question

Good evening baws. Have a quick question regarding Talldega. Some friends and I have a bachelor party planned for Talladega race weekend. I won’t be able to get there until Saturday morning as I have work Friday so I’ll be flying into Birmingham. What are my transport options to and from Talladega? Anyone have experience with this? I’d be flying back relatively early Monday morning FYI. TIA!

Getting there is not going to be an issue. Uber would work. Getting out is the problem. I would go with a driving service. A little more expensive but you would be guaranteed to get back.

Start with talladegaraceshuttle.com. Or just google transport services between Bham and Talladega. I just did it and it gives you the top 10. ProTip: Get down to the infield.

You can probably rent a car for what an uber would cost round trip

We have an RV rented for the weekend in the infield. Just need transport there and back.

You are probably right even though there will be a price surge and parking is a bitch and can be expensive. I am thinking Uber air car service will save time and effort. Probably around $80 per way Uber.

You need to come back and go to the Barbers Race. Bill France says it’s the best Road Course in the World.

Good luck with that. Getting out is always a mess on Monday morning. Best to wait until Monday night or Tuesday morning.
I’d probably rent a car. And get all the insurance!!!

Check this company out. Always reliable transportation to the airport when I travel in BHM area, but I have not used them for race weekend so not sure what their talladega options are. Rates usually just a bit higher than Uber but not much.

Also if you could get a late Flight Friday after work I would do it. Friday/Saturday nights in the infield or by far the best so I would not want to skip Friday night no matter how late you get in.
