South Florida and Keys winter RV trip with kids recommendations

I live in Florida and never been to Miami or the Keys. Looking at doing this road trip over the kids winter break, yes I know its the busy season unfortunately.

Pick up RV in Gainesville
Night in Venice-hunt for sharks teeth on beach somewhere
Night in Naples-No idea what to do here
3-4 nights in Keys (not sure if we should home base in Marathon or move 2-3 times?)
2-3 Nights in Miami area
Night in Cape Canaveral-Nasa
Return RV and return home

Thoughts and things to do in those areas with kids? RV parks to stay at? Using the RV as a home base and place to store stuff. May get a hotel a couple of nights. I'd like to do a combo of state park type RV parks and a nicer one or two I've seen some pretty decent ones online.
