Short term rental - Best places in colorado?

Going to colorado this weekend spurred something in me so I want to now rent a home of apartment for the summer. Any recommendations for towns i should look at?
A couple of caveats...need high speed internet for remote work and i don’t want to break the bank but also want proximity to mountains.
Denver is probably my best bet so any smaller places around there to look?

A handful of times in my life, I’ve done summer subleases from college students who go home for the summer but want to keep their apartment. They’ve all been great (though I always went the “entire apartment” route and didn’t explore any options with existing roommates.)

Boulder is a great option, easy access to the mountain towns
Durango if you’d rather be in that area, access to telluride/ouray and also southern Utah
we’ve gone to Colorado in the summer every year for the past five, been all over. In June we will be in vail for a weekend then in July a two week road trip. I have no idea why I don’t live there...maybe someday
