Headed to San Diego in a few weeks.
I am looking for recommendations for restaurants in the gas-lamp district.
Also, want to plan a wine tour from San Diego to Temecula.
Any recs on wine tour companies and/or wineries?
TIA

The Gaslamp is a good place to grab drinks but I'd take an Uber to get out of there or rent a car and get out of downtown alltogether.
Some of my favorite places in the city are:
Mr. A's (downtown)
Juniper and Ivy (Little Italy-pretty much downtown)
Jake's (Del Mar)
George's (La Jolla)
The Marine Room (La Jolla)
I can't help with tour companies and my wife's the wine drinker so I just go where she tells me to go.

I'd stop at Lorimar Winery for the best cabs (in my opinion)
And Wilson Creek for the absolute best almond champagne you've ever had.
Both are nice places. Both in Temecula.

Parma Cucina Italiana- Facebook reminded me I was there on this day two years ago. Reservations are required because it is small but very worth it.

Hope you don't mind if I piggyback on your thread, but do y'all have any recs for a casual place to dine while on business travel?

Check out some of the TV food/restaurant shows such as Dinners, Drive Ins & Dives, Food Paradise, The Best Thing I Ever Ate, Man vs Food, etc. Almost all of them have been to places in SD and many are casual.
You can Google Food TV shows in San Diego or watch the food and travel channels on cable. You can also search this board for previous post.
In what area of SD are you staying?
