No seaweed at all on west bay beach. We had a great time. Toured the island, did the monkey and sloth hangout.

Made 10 dives. Beautiful reef. Overall visibility was not the best, maybe 40ft. I am used to twice that in cozumel. Saw lots of turtles and green moray eels. Very nice coral formations and easy diving with basically no current.

Food was great along west bay beach. Beachers was good, as well as hangover cafe. Thirsty turtle was marginal. Harrys in west end was good.

I havent seen any of the dead shite that you have been seeing in mexico that floats up on the beach. I have seen alot growing under the water in certain spots.

Island has been great but im underwhelmed with the snorkeling at this point. Im gonna try and find a boat to take us out maybe its better further out. Ive tried on west bay and half moon and neither has been great.

Imo curacao was much better and also much easier to access. May change my mind after a boat trip but as far as snorkeling crom the beach curacao was great imo.

Food has been great out here and people also.

Went out on the reef today. Alot better but I still think curacao got it beat. Its just harder to get to here whereas in curacao you can just take off from the beach and its right there. I feel like curacao had way more fish and the coral formations maybe not as many, but more vibrant. I have had alot of fun out here though and it is definitely worth coming. Last day is tomorrow. I really wanted to hit more of the remote beaches but havent had time. Wish I would have booked 1 more day.

West end is where I stayed and the brisas del mar has been a great spot. I would recommend highly to anyone wanting to stay.

I have been impressed with service everywhere, usually on these islands everyone is operating on island time but here service has been better than expected. For as much tourism as they have here it is lacking in some areas. Simple thing like atms are a struggle. Alot of restaurants running out of supplies. Minor stuff that didnt effect the trip. Just more of a heads up for anyone maybe planning a trip dont expect 100%. Regardless still a great spot to visit. Not sure if i will come back at some point becuase there are so many places I want to go but I would def recommend coming if you get the chance.
