The wife and I won an all inclusive trip at an auction and we can choose any of these. We’ve never done one before so I’m going in with zero experience.

Without knowing anything about any of them, I'd be skeptical of the El Cid's by the name alone.

I have stayed in the El Cid La Ceiba in Cozumel, but it was 18 years ago. It was nice at the time.

They all sound sketchy

Do a thorough search on trip advisor and google reviews. The east coast Mexican resorts have a huge issue with seaweed now in the warmer months. Makes the beach unusable and pretty gross. The higher end resorts that cater to Americans and Europeans clean the beaches with tractors. Most do not. That being said, it’s not a big problem fall through early spring.
