In relation we stayed at a Sheraton in Kauai and it was pretty plain

I saw the Sheraton listed on expedia and the prices were very reasonable, but i automatically assumed it was a standard, run of the mill Sheraton, so this is very helpful and i will look further into it.

anyone have any feedback on the Westin (there might be 2 locations) or the Hyatt Regency resort?

They are both priced similar to the Sheraton

after skimming through reviews its looking like the Sheraton has moved near the top of the list.

edit- going to rule out the Ritz and Hyatt as reviews say the nearby beaches for both are less than ideal and the Ritz is in an area that gets more wind and rain.

I have enjoyed the Hyatt Regency twice with the family. And the Grand Wailea once.

Company trips and most enjoyable.

Long trip for four days, but paradise is awaiting!
