Wife surprised me with tickets for the LSU game. We will fly out and get there on New Years afternoon.
Go to the game on the 2nd.
Planning to go to two of the Universal parks on the 3rd.
Fly home on the 4th but don’t leave the airport until 5pm.
Looking for suggestions on what to do the night we get there (Sunday, New Year’s Day), Monday night after the game, suggestions or tips for Universal on Tuesday, and something to do the morning/early day of Wednesday before we fly home. Thanks!

Start Universal at Islands of Adventure. Work around that park then take the Hogwarts Express to the Studios park.
There’s alot of dark rides and motion simulators which I get sick on. There was still quite a bit for me to do.
Velocicoaster
Hagrid’s
Incredible Hulk
Dudley Do-Right log flume
Kong
Rip Ride Rockit Roller Coaster
All worth the price of admission.
No need to buy the Fast Pass. We were there for one day last New Year’s Day and did everything we wanted to do.
There’s a ton of things to do/places to eat up and down International Drive and at Universal City Walk for the rest of your time there.

I’m a pretty big advocate for the fast pass if you have to do both parks in one day and don’t get to go that often. You’ll also need the park hopper pass so you can go back and forth between the two parks.
Maybe some type of show on I drive or an escape room and some dinner for the first night. I don’t have a lot of food recs for Orlando but there’s a Giordanos pizza near universal and their deep dish is pretty damn good .
