Would any of you like to share your experience.

What are some questions you may have? I just sailed Oasis in February and have sailed Allure and Symphony before then.
How many in your party, what ages and what itinerary are you looking at? Also, what other class ship is in consideration?

We're booked on the allure for southern cruise in October. Curacao, Aruba, and Haiti. Just wanted some insight into what to expect and anything we should do to make out trip more enjoyable. Wife and I and 5yr old daughter.

Make sure you sign your 5 year old up for Adventure Ocean on day 1. Sign her up for as many free sessions as possible. Even if you don't use them , sign up for as many as possible.
Don't try to do everything offered on the ship, you won't be able to do it
Stay on the cruise planner sales and book whatever you can in advance knowing if the price drops, you can always cancel and rebook at the lower price
Yes, the deluxe beverage package is worth it
The main dining room is a giant MEH. Night one, we like a specialty restauraunt (150 central park), night 2 we will do the main dining room for formal night), night 3-5 we will usually just do something casual, quick or the windjammer. Back to the MDR on night 6 for the second formal night. It's a HUGE time commitment and honestly, while the service is usually very good, the food just isn't that worth it.
Try to hit the things like the flowrider and zip line as soon as they open in the morning one day.
Look at trip advisor for excursions in port rather than booking through the cruise line...you'll end up doing basically the same things for way less money.
Never try to fly into your departure port on the day you sale...always get there a day early.
Definitely hit the spa raffle on day 1. I've won the $250 jackpot twice. If you don't win, whatever the MGR spa special they offer you while you are there is usually the best deal they will offer.
Bring more small bills on the ship than you may think you need. They used to let you sign your receipt after each drink if you have the drink package and leave an extra tip. So few people left anything extra they basically just stopped even asking for your card BUT if you find a server by the pool you get to know on day 1, you can always slip him a $5 or $10 early on and you'll never wait on a drink all day.

Whatever show they offer in the aqua theater is a must see. Aqua 80's on Oasis was incredible.
Boardwalk balconies can be loud...beware.

I believe in the not too distant future they’re moving one maybe two Oasis class ships to Houston. Looking forward to that as that’s an easy drive for me
