NYC New Years Eve Not going to the Ball drop

Me and my wife are headed to nyc on New Year’s Eve this year, we don’t wanna mess with doing the Times Square ball drop. We are looking for some other recommendations on things to do that night. Maybe a rooftop bar. Or one of those night river cruises. Penny for your thoughts.

We did july 4th on one of the river cruises a few years back.
I would recommend it. Nice views of everything open bar, food, music, dancing.

Thanks. They seem fun by looking at them. Abd I feel like it will be more intimate and less crowded. You can only fit so many on a boat. I’m expecting the streets and bars to be overwelming.
