Need help with last minute Thanksgiving trip ideas

Family of 6 (14,11,8,4) looking for driving recommendations. Would like a drive in the 9 hours or less category. We do Disney every year at Mardi Gras so that rules that out.
A few places I have thought about:
Chatanooga
Gatlinburg
Branson
San Antonio
Dallas
Dates would be Wed-Sun next week

I love blue ridge in the fall, should find a cabin somewhere in west NC or north Georgia and explore the little towns in the area.
Super expensive on this weekend and not worth it. Can do it on a off peak week and get balcony rooms for super cheap.
