Going at the end of February for first time. So far I’ve only skied at Breckenridge, keystone , Loveland , and copper. It will be me , Mrs jkyle, and my two sons 12&14. We are staying at Westgate Spa and Resorts which is at the base of canyons village. Will get there late on a Friday and head home that coming Tuesday. (3full days of skiing )
-what’s the best means of transportation from Slc to park city ? Mind you, itll be four of us plus a decent amount of bags. Right now I can get a car on Turo for 250-300ish. Rental cars are around 4-500 range. I’ve read up on some shuttles and also heard Uber is good there but my concern is how good that would be for four of us with bags. I don’t really care to do much driving around once we get there. Resort offers free shuttles to get around the area.
-also which area is best for beginner to intermediate skiers? Not much for black diamonds but I love blues and don’t mind the greens (especially the long ones ).
Any info or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Just rent a car. Trust me, it makes it easy to get between Salt Lake City and Park City.
There are greens and blues everywhere on the mountain but most of them will be found at the lower elevations. Just keep in mind they don't groom as much terrain at PC as they do in places like Vail, so a lot of blue runs will turn into mogul fields. The mountain is too big for them to groom all the blues. If it doesn't say groomed on the grooming report, assume its going to be moguled. It was hilarious watching a bunch of people take Quicksilver over to the Canyons side of the mountain, and then have to take a mandatory blue mogul run down once they got off Quicksilver and have no idea how to get down it.
They only had about 100 runs open when I was there last week, but I felt the green/blue runs were better on the Canyons side than the PC side.
I did 3 days at Park City last week. My first day most of the black runs were still closed off. Once they opened up 9990, McConkey's and Tombstone I spent most of my time off those chairs.

Sweet thanks. I’ll prob end up going the Turo route. Car rentals through major companies have been a pain in the arse lately for me. Good to know that the canyons side will have some decent terrain for us.
