Anyone have info if most of Nashville is open or still under Stay at Home order?
We may take a long weekend trip in a few weeks.

Depends on what you want to do.

CMHOF just announced "the cancellation of all in-person programming, including performances and interviews in the museum’s Ford Theater as well as family programs and activities in the Taylor Swift Education Center, through Friday, July 31." The Hall itself is closed through May 31.

The Ryman is closed through June 6th (tours & shows), as is the Opry house (tours & shows).

While we're on Nashville, does anyone have any insight into youth sports? Daughter plays for a competitive soccer team here in Bham, but all practices/games/tournaments were scrapped in March. We were supposed to go to a tourney in Nashville last weekend and they had already postponed it to the 2nd or 3rd weekend in June. Not an outright cancellation, but I bet that is what ends up happening.

Depends on if you're looking at Davidson County, or the surrounding counties for the status. We'll assume Metro (Davidson). Well, many businesses in Nashville have been back to work for one week during phase one of Davidson County's reopening plan.

Phase 1 Opening.

Under phase one of reopening, restaurants open at half capacity, chairs and tables are spaced out here and employees have to wear masks and wipe down surfaces after every use.

Some restaurants aren't. Just got this from a popular restaurant in the Nations. Hathorne.

We hope you are safe and well. We are considering many variables that factor into our ability to safely and responsibly reopen Hathorne. When I consider myself comfortable dining in the restaurant with my own family, I’ll know it’s time to ask our staff to return. We will then work to reopen the doors and welcome our guests back to Hathorne. Until then, we will continue to offer preordered meals for curbside pickup on Wednesday and Saturday. We’ll work to reorganize the restaurant so when we are able, we will be ready to serve. We are so excited to see you all again when the time is right.

They're cancelling certain things like concerts, 4th of July celebrations etc. The Pilgrimage Music and Cultural Festival in Franklin in September is cancelled.

Some useful resources to stay on top of things:

Nashville starting to hit marks.

Metro's Stay At Home Order.

Music City Site For Tourists.

Department of Health Site.

Restaurants are allowed to reopen at 50% capacity but most of them are still closed altogether. I imagine it's difficult to turn a profit with only a half full restaurant, so a lot of them are staying closed. Breweries and bars are still closed as well. You might be OK if you plan to go in late June, but I wouldn't recommend going in early June unless something changes.
