TripAdvisor gives this place glowing remarks but the consensus appears to be this place is ideal for R&R trip...not much in terms of snorkling, etc.

Any insight from the travel board?

You had best take plenty of money for Scrub Island.
Stayed there once but never again.
Have been going to the BVI s for 37 years but almost always on a catamaran, which is a lot cheaper than scrub island.

So, I wish I had input but you found one that I know nothing about. Looking at it, it's no more expensive than going to South Beach. It looks like rooms are 45000 Marriott points a night which looks like a good value since the room I looked up is $653 a night.

I'd say it's another version of Peter Island which I've stayed at and is extremely nice. However, the accommodations at Peter Island are really, really nice and may be a better value depending on the season.
