We're heading to this area for Christmas. Any suggestions on activities, restaurants, etc?

Oh nice. Yeah I’ve been there a bunch as it’s the closest great ski resort to me.
There’s nothing particular that stands out as far as where to eat or anything, but there are lots of choices. The Village area has a lot.
You’re going in the winter so I’m sure you’ll be skiing. You can also go snowshoeing on some great trails by the Tamarack Center.
If you’re driving up, I suggest stopping for barbecue at Copper stop in big pine. Schat’s roadhouse in bishop is really good as well.
