Malibu recs?

Booked a last minute trip today with a house on the beach. I typically research for weeks but I didn’t have any idea we were going to Malibu until today. We were scheduled to go to Florida, but Nate chased us away.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Food and drink are high priority.

I assume you have a rental car? I would definitely go up to Santa Barbara for the day if you do

I haven’t been to nobu Malibu, but I’ve been to their sister restaurants in Beverly Hills and was thoroughly unimpressed.
I did enjoy Geoffrey’s.
