Looking for tips for Barbados in July

My wife and I will be heading to Barbados next July with 2 other couples to all celebrate our 10 year anniversaries. We're staying at the Sandals Barbados in St Lawrence Gap.
Has anyone stayed there before? If so, what are some "must do" activities in the area? My 2 buddies and I are definitely interested in a fishing trip so any tips on good charters or ones to stay away from would be appreciated as well.

Hurricane season... make sure your travel / logistics is insured or refundable.
