Cool place, expect some Texas beaners and Lake Charles 5 foot coonasses.

Other than that, the LC casinos are a very nice getaway, the pool and lazy river is fun for kids.

I just realized the Nugget has lazy river and kids area. Of course quite more $$$, any recommendations? Thanks

The Lauberge lazy river is nicer, although I haven't been in a bit. It's very easy to go between both properties. I know the Nugget "beach" is better, and you can just walk there.

The lazy river at the nugget is smaller, but has a bigger regular pool. The lazy river at Lauberge is the main attraction. Pretty big and takes about 10-15 minutes to get around if you’re floating. Long enough time to finish a margarita and then grab another when you pass by the bar lol

Really can’t go wrong with either one. Better restaurants at the nugget
