Lakes within driving distance of South Louisiana

I’m looking for recs on Lake destinations similar to lake Martin AL that are within a 5-7 hour drive. We have done lake Martin a few times and really enjoyed it, and are interested in something with a similar set up for a family trip over the summer.

Lake Lanier just north of Atlanta. Beautiful, clean water, good visibility.

Lake Ouachita, Hamilton, and Catherine are all around Hot Springs, Arkansas. All three are great for most anything you want to do.
