Head to Lake Tahoe at the end of the month an looking for some suggestions of trails to hike and other must see/do activities. We will be staying on the south side of the lake by State line. Restaurant recommendations welcome too. Thanks

If you golf play at Edgewood and then eat dinner there after, their restaurant is really good.

Just got back a couple weeks ago. I hope the fires calm down for you. The smoke there right now is pretty bad.
California Burger Company is a cool casual spot to grab a bite. They have a lot of outdoor seating and live music. Wait time could be long for outside, but they do have seating inside. They have an incredible whisky selection behind the bar.
We stayed in North Tahoe (Incline Village) so we didn’t eat much on the south side. Bite in Incline Village was really good (tapas style place). Christy Hill (Tahoe City) was nice. Ask to sit on the beach deck (outdoor seating with incredible lake views). Reservations are needed for both.
Eagle Falls to Eagle Lake hike - Parking fills up fast in and around the main trailhead. We parked on the side of the road and walked in. The trail to Eagle Falls is fairly easy and gets harder to Eagle Lake. The lake is a can’t miss spot though. We were hesitant going at first, but it was definitely worth it. The waters cold in the lake, but lots of people were wading/swimming.
Vikingsholm hike - this spot is close to the Eagle Falls area. You may be able to park in one spot and due both. Vikingsholm is a replica of an old castle. Tours can be done, but we opted not too. The hike is steep, but worth it. Takes you down to the castle and large beach area. The water there is really cold, but again people are in it. This is a popular area for boaters to anchor and hang out. You also see Fannette Island as well.
Secret Cove - hike is steep, but takes you down to a beach that is awesome. Blue water, huge granite boulders and clothing being optional. Let’s just say there were some sights you did and didn’t want to see. For the most part people wore clothes though.

You can take the cable car up Heavenly Mountain. Great view. Alpine coaster is fun to do up there.
There's a bike trail on the east side that's pretty but if your cardio is shite there will be some tough spots. Bikes are at Tunnel Creek cafe.
Take a boat trip on the lake itself.
I liked the burgers at Char-Pit but that's north side.
The drive from Reno into Tahoe is pretty cool.

It can change day to day. We arrived Wednesday afternoon and we had no issues that day or Thursday. Friday the winds shifted and it was hazy, but we still managed to do a 3 hour kayak trip and hike down to Secret Cove. On Saturday you couldn’t see from one side of the lake to the other. Again, it didn’t stop us from doing some hikes but took away from the scenery for sure.

Flume bike trail is one of the best in the world IMO. Went a couple years ago and they rented e-bikes so you can handle the climb.
