Jetty East Reservation

Had Jetty East in Destin booked since March. Called yesterday to confirm reservation for June 9th for 4 nights. Confirmed. Idk if theyre just defying orders or if the Louisiana ban is about to be done with. I'm not complaining.

That's good to hear. I'm hearing a few stories of some rental agencies and/or owners just ignoring the silly rules. Maybe when others start realizing how much money this is costing them, they will start renting to La people as well.

They aren't defying orders. Rentals are allowed to those from Louisiana. It's just the renter's responsibility to self quarantine in your own condo the duration of your stay - per the regulations. If you go out, they are not accountable. Sounds like from the main thread that no one is having issues though going on the beach.
At least this is my understanding.

Well the confusion it’s causing is crazy. Many places have indeed taken a firm stance in not renting to La people.
