If the weather is good, the snowmobile tour into Yellowstone is worthy of the time it takes. I saw the aforementioned Bison grazing near the thermal pools and an eagle in full flight, plus Old Faithful in all its glory. Guide was great about stopping when he observed wildlife and pointed out Elk on the drive to the park entrance.
Other stops included the Continental Divide and a beautiful spot with a river view/waterfall.

There is a really really nice National Museum of Wildlife (or something like that) right outside town on the way to to the Tetons. Hard to miss with all the outdoor wildlife statues. Highly recommend if you like art, wildife etc....
