cause they are all identical in nature
Jackson isn’t a real place - it’s like all resort towns. It has a largely transient population of working poor, and rich people. Almost everyone is from somewhere else.
Buts that’s okay. It’s what these places are like.
Someone told me the boardwalks were installed in the 70s to bolster that old west feeling. They’re not historical.
Again, it’s not real, buts that’s okay. None of these places are real.

with the caveat that Jackson is chock bock full of new money...all of the old money is now in Coeur d'Alene because they won't rob elbows with the trash in Jackson....
If money is going anywhere, it’s Big Sky.
Jackson is almost completely built out.
As for your characterization, what makes Jackson different is the mountain. It’s not an easy resort to ski, recent expansion included, and that has always kept the Aspen crowd away.
You don’t go to Jackson to be seen. The people there really are there to ski - and to be outdoors. There’s an honest love and passion for the outdoors, and that’s true of the rich and the poor alike.
I suppose what I dislike about your comment, is the way you endorse trendiness. Do things because they make sense to you, don’t worry about what other people are doing.
To compare yourself to other people like that, it’s a form of insecurity.

Yellowstone is only open to snowmobiles at the southern entrance in the winter, I believe. You’ll likely need to book a tour to visit.
I would rent a car. The views of the Teton Range along the Rockefeller parkway are gorgeous. Go to the snake River overlook. Have a great time.
