I'll check out Providenciales. Any resorts anyone recommends? I don't want anything too commercial like Sandals. We'll have 4 teenagers. I want them to be able to venture out on their own a little without fear of kidnappings or tainted liquor.

I admit I know very little about the Caribbean - hence all my questions.
The St Croix trip was exactly what I wanted, but then Maria happened. One friend suggested Punta Cana then another said it's like Panama City Beach.

I'll probably end up with a Travel Agent. Which I am loathe to do.

We stayed at Seven Stars in T&C and enjoyed it. I'd bet getting a house would be pretty awesome as well.

I just got back from Punta Cana on Saturday. I can tell you that it is nothing like Panama City Beach.

Your teenagers are perfectly safe there as long as they don't do anything stupid. Beaches is a family resort but the ages might be a bit young.

Honestly, I wouldn't woory so much about a "resort" on Providenciales. There are tons of great hotels right on the beach and there are many great restaurants.
