I was supposed to go to Iceland last May but didn’t get to because of COVID. I had planned on getting a vaccine as soon as possible in anticipation of it being required for travel. I have an appointment Wednesday for my first shot and should get the second about four weeks later.

I’m thinking about booking Iceland for May.

Yellow fever in Africa for instance.

South America too. I've had to show my yellow fever vaccination card in at least Tanzania and Ecuador.

Things must have changed in Ecuador. I was there in November and didn't have to have a YF vaccination card.

It was actually an internal flight to go to Coca that required the YF card, around 4 years ago. I think the same may have been true for an internal flight to Iquitos, Peru.

Well, I booked my flight to Iceland for late May. I also made an appointment for a COVID test that cost about $50. Hopefully it will all go smoothly.
