Bruh, this is some pretty damn in depth hustling.

Its really not that complicated haha

I don't understand though you are saying you are getting Multiple Ink preferred cards? I thought it was a one time thing?

Yep. Same name, SSN, etc. You can get as many as you want as long as you follow the rules above. Would do it until they change the rules.

For both business and personal, I have a ton of things that are on autopay: cable, HOA, etc. It would certainly be more than 10 minutes of my time, not to mention to cancel.

I assume you know this already but just making sure...you dont have to only use business card for business purchases. For low cost recurring items I dont switch it to the new card everytime. For example, Ink Cash has 5% on TV and internet so I just leave it on that card.

And like I said, that's $60k a year on a card. Once you submit to a 401k, pay a mortgage, and all the other things that don't allow a CC payment then for the AVERAGE person you are looking at $150-200k/ year salary.

Okay maybe its not 60k/year on cards because I only make a little more than that. My mortgage is only 1k/month. 401k can only be 18k/year and at my age im not going to sacrifice current life things to max it when I can do less and be fine. You don't need to make 150k much less even 100k to do this because I don't. The Ink preferred has one of the most "difficult" signup bonuses with 5k in 3 months. Thats $1600/month. Most adults can handle that.

Hold the phone...how are you making your 401k contributions with a credit card? IRS rules state they must be made with cash...

ETA: nvm, I read more carefully and see that you said "except" a 401k contribution. My bad.

Ha yeah I was just meaning that is where your income can go...not from a credit card. Although, would be amazing.

Knowing how Chase operates, when/if they figure you out you're gonna get shutdown for "life" aka at least a few years, so be ready to transfer all those points out of UR when you get a hint of trouble.

Funny though, I get the 3rd degree (though I know why) with my wife having 7 personals and 1 biz and me having 5 personals and two business cards. Not counting that a few of those are the 2nd time I've had it. Are you getting auto approved or going through recon?

I'll have to check that method. I've gotten slack in my studies.

I don't think that is going to happen. They quit doing shutdowns about a year ago but ya never know. Im also not prime suspect number 1. There are thousands of people who abuse Chase much worse than I do.

I have not had to go through recon for any card before.

Ah, that's good. Recon for business cards is no joke and I've had to do it more than I would have liked for their cards in the past. Good thing you're under the radar. Though to be fair to me, I got mine a few years ago and kept them (5x Bold and Ink at the time). After reading your post I may go back in since I do have recurring purchases and stuff I make with those two.

It really is a crapshoot if you draw their ire or not. I pay annual fees here and there to throw them off. Least I can do for the business class seats they've given me.

What? THis is not true at all. I travel some/not much for work, don't make half of 200k, and dont own a small business. I open a new card (almost always Chase) on average every two months. In a little over two years I have 1 million Chase points, 200k Hilton, and 100k United. 1) Get Chase card 2) Hit the spend limit to get the signup bonus 3) Rinse and repeat. Its 100% worth the 10 minutes it takes to apply for a new card every two months. Unless you spend an arse load of money every month then you will never acquire enough points by keeping just one card.

Can I use a business card for the grocery store or do I need "legit" business expenses?

The churning game is still ripe for the taking so I wouldn't hesitate to jump back in. Whats the worst thing that could happen?
