Interesting you’ve landed on Antigua. We’re staying at Cocobay Resort late July (not a honeymoon). It’s a 4 star all-inclusive and more rustic than Hammock Bay. We like to mostly relax on the beach but they do offer excursions or can help you find them. It’s also in an area with a string of great beaches that are walkable from the resort. Hammock Bay looks nice for a honeymoon.

We are currently leaning to Hammock Bay in Antigua
Thoughts?
Haven't been but have heard of it and looks amazing. It's a widely regarded as one of the island’s most luxurious and personalized all-inclusive resorts, with a reputation for exceptional service, stunning private villas, and gourmet dining

Well we have thought about it more and think it is a little too secluded and small for what we are looking for, specifically we want a better/bigger beach (not one that's just in a cove).
Obviously there are trade offs to every place, but we are going to keep looking for now since we have time.

I’m going there for my honeymoon next month. Very excited.

We did two nights Jade Mountain and 3 nights Sugar Beach in St. Lucia. Highly recommend, incredible trip.

Someone mentioned Aruba in this thread. I visited this resort for dinner a month ago and if I went back to Aruba it would be here. Upscale Adults Only. Not all inclusive but has really good restaurants and is on a gorgeous beach. The condos have a kitchenette and will arrange for grocery delivery.
Aruba is extremely accessible. Easy to drive around, tons of great restaurants and bars, modern public transportation, clean, safe, no seaweed, no rain, no hurricanes, and no mosquitoes.

Sugar Beach, St Lucia is on a cove. It was amazing. Very calm vs waves rolling in. Would do again.

The beach at Jade Mtn looked difficult to get to. Was that the case?
Are the rooms as unbelievable as the website shows?
We were torn between the 2 when deciding but very happy with Sugar Beach.

Beach at Jade is not great but the rooms are spectacular. Infinity pool with view of the Pitons. Butler service, total relaxation. The food was excellent at Jade restaurants and the celestial terrace at night was our favorite. Highly recommend doing a few nights at Jade then a few nights at Sugar Beach. The resorts are a five-minute boat ride around a Piton. Sugar Beach is a different vibe, still chill but more to do. The houses are incredible, restaurants also very good. We cannot wait to go back.

New Zealand at that time of year would be ideal.
more beaches than you could visit.
Took my wife there for 3 weeks on our honeymoon.
Spend as little time as possible in Auckland.

We did sugar beach at St. Lucia for 5 or 6 days. Can't recommend enough. Not cheap but worth it. Plenty of day activities if you want them. Hike the Pitons and such. Food was absolutely amazing.
