Secrets Aura Cozumel

I stayed there back when it was still the Wyndham. It's a great resort and well laid out. Town can be a bit of a hike, but I like being out of the hustle and bustle.

Also close to Punta Sur, Palancar Beach, and rentals to go to the east side. Check out Chen Rio for some fantastic fish.

If you're looking to dive, try Island Divers Cozumel. Buddy just opened it up last year, and they offer some pretty great packages. Ask for Memo (Guillermo).

I spoke w/ my travel agent and she mentioned that around 5-6pm they close the streets on Isla Mujere. Shops and restuarants close up and only few remain open. Now, this was over 10 years ago.

Fire her. My god...we went recently and it was incredible. Going back in the spring.

If you want great cheap authentic Mexican get in a cab and go to Basto's. It's mid island. Just get the flank steak and enjoy.
