Fly fishing-Camping-Hiking Trip (Colorado)

2 part question. What IYO is the best town or area in Colorado with the best scenery to do the activities in OP, and also what is the best option to do the same in the most south easterly part of Colorado (if the best happens to be more north west).
I'm looking for a spot like this.....(Just a generic picture to get the scenery idea)
And preferably the closer to the southeast the better.
Planning a fly fishing/camping/hiking/outdoorsy trip for 2022 and trying to nail down an area to begin. The southeast criteria is obviously just to get it as close to my house as possible, but if there are drastically better spots further northwest then I'd be fine driving further.

I can keep you east of the divide. Anything along the Arkansas river ought to do you right. Typically this would put you in Salida or BV. Leadville and Lake Co would certainly hit the mark too but farther north.
You could probably find some good stuff in the Sangres (like Westcliffe as a home base).

Salida, BV, Gunnison would be my tops from what you laid out.

BV might be perfect. Cottonwood Pass connects to Gunnison and there's a lot to do just off that road. Right there along the Arkansas too for fishing and rafting.
Stay at the hotel at the Cottonwood Hot Springs.
There are wonderful spots to the N and W but I think this would fit the bill and save at least a couple of hours driving.
