In March I'm headed over to Dublin with the wife for 3 days. I know we want to see:

St. Patrick's Cathedral
Trinity College
Jameson Distillery
Guiness Distillery
Grafton street

Any other suggestions? Staying right down town, about 2 blocks from Trinity College and Grafton Street

I loved just hitting pubs and drinking Guiness

Wish I had time for Jameson

Guiness tour was cool, but pretty Disney

Yeah I fully plan on just doing that one afternoon and people watching.

Any restaurant or pub recommendations?

Take your time. Don't run around.

Grafton Street area is great. Temple Bar blows.

Try searching, seems there have been 5 Dublin threads over the past several weeks.

Do not miss Kilmainham Gaol. It's located a little further west from the Guinness brewery)

It's kind of a big, big deal in modern Irish history.

Also, the National Museum of Ireland (south of but near Trinity).

Dublin Castle to see how the British overseers lived.

And last but not least, at least walk by the General Post Office on McConnell Street.

It's a big deal as well and Dublin is pretty walkable.
