I recently drove from Florence, OR to SanFrancisco . Absolutely stunning. From the Pacific views to driving through the Redwood forest, the mountains to the wine country. Most beautiful drive I have ever had or probably ever will

Just returned yesterday. If you have kids spend a day at the boardwalk in Santa Cruz. Very cool old school rides, games, arcades.

Hearst castle is one of the highlights of that drive. About 30-45 min south of Big Sur. Definitely worth spending a half day touring
