If that works for you, save your $$ and have them rebook out of AEX tomorrow morning. You can go to McAllen or Harlingen (only one seat left on this flight). Looks like that 3829 flight just got sold out as well

Yea just got off the phone. All set. Thanks again. Beats the heck out of not getting there till 11pm tomorrow night which was the first option they gave me. Plus get to experience the joy of waltzing through tsa in AEX 30 minutes before takeoff with no stress.

AA has screwed me at every turn, it was bad prior to the bullshite yesterday. To top it off I got to airport 2 hours ahead this morning. Barely made flight as AA refused to cancel flight, issued paper boarding passes last night to take flight this morning. Sent no info on half the flights to TSA. None of us can get thru security. Flight has 20 people on it that actually made it on board.
Yesterday I spent 3 hours in line, People in back of line prob had an 8 hour wait.
The worst customer service I’ve ever seen. I don’t give a shite about a voucher as I wouldn’t fly this airline if you paid me, but very few given any consideration.

I'm glad you got out of Dallas finally to SHV, doesn't surprise me that TSA had no idea on how many flights were rescheduled from yesterday to this morning. Where'd you end up staying last night?

You should be fine, it doesnt look nearly as bad as yesterday over DFW. Good news is your plane is already in DFW and says on time to AEX. Plane to MFE is coming from Des Moines IA but it looks like they're using the inbound from a delayed flight from yesterday from Amarillo... Wouldnt be surprised if that one gets delayed unless they do an aircraft swap. NVM, looks like on the AA site that plane is coming from Springfield MO (aa 3414) landing at 936am

It was just a riddle. If I could’ve somehow got my bags I would’ve gladly driven to AEX.
As a poster said AEX is just so dang high. SHV is cheaper. So all I would’ve gained is a night in SHV
The drive from Steambuat to Vail yesterday at 4am after 3 inches of snowy ice was sketchy for a Louisiana guy.
And does everyone fly with a dog now?

This new pay when you park system is pretty gay. Just let me pull a card and pay what i owe when i leave. I paid for 2 days (coworker picking up my truck on friday) $29.
$14.50 a day to park at AEX is insane. It’s like $9 at LFT

Yea it’s pretty weird. Wonder when this started. (Haven’t flown out of here in over a year due to the multiple limbs it costs).

Made it to MFE 10 minutes ahead of schedule. Don’t have to worry about traveling again until the 8th. Good luck to everyone who will be on the move in the coming days.

Glad you made it. Currently sitting in PBI en route to ATL and then ASE. I love the approach into ASE so hopefully no issues with ground delays today and can get a half day skiing in

I’m sitting in Frankfurt waiting to catch a flight to Amsterdam. I’m starting to fade. I didn’t sleep much on the flight over. Hope we can enjoy what is left of the day with out sacking out.
