Heading to Carmel in early October. Been awhile since I’ve been.
Any recommendations, other than Pebble Beach, appreciated.
Sight seeing, restaurants, wineries, etc.
TIA

Friend,
Carmel is one of my favorite towns. We have not visited since late 2020, but perhaps TulaneLSU’s Top 10 signs of Carmel will come in useful for your trip. Be sure to make contact with SuperSaint, as he is an avid golfer in the area and member at two exclusive clubs. I highly recommend playing a round at Pebble Beach. Please refer to TulaneLSU’s guide to Pebble Beach. Please take many photographs and continue your correspondence here once your trip is completed.
Yours,
TulaneLSU

My wife’s coworker literally got back yesterday and said it was nothing short of amazing.
She said there are no addresses on any of the houses or buildings, the post office in town is the only one that actually has a physical address.
Open up your wallet, she said all of the restaurants were extremely expensive, but if you’re there to visit, just expect it and you’ll have a wonderful time
she said it was like no place she has ever visited in the US. Extremely clean and super friendly people everywhere

Carmel is the fairhope of california
It’s a Very nice and friendly town. Kinda artsy fartsy but worth the visit. Expensive.
The coastal region is amazing and worth a nice drive. Maybe rent a convertible.
